Mazza wine estate

The "Mazza" wine estate is found at Castellina in Chianti (Siena) at a locality called Montelupo. Born in the fifties thanks to the family of the same name who has, since then, managed the estate, keeping it family-run and keeping the respect for the Chianti traditions and the Gallo Nero image. Today the estate extends over 65 hectares 35 of which are vineyards at 300 metres above sea level facing south and south-west for the production of Chianti Classico and Igt Toscano. The estate, has, in these recent years, expanded with a new cellar making it possible to process the grapes in the best possible way thanks to the technology of modern vinification. The wines produced are the DOCG Chianti Classico “SerGino” which is the estate's main product, the two IGT Tuscan Reds “Mariano” and “Il Breccia” and finally the IGT Tuscan White “Adino”. Completing the range is the Vin Santo DOC “Uvetta” and the two kinds of Grappa distilled from the fresh fruit refuse of the Chianti Classico and the Reserve.
