Tenuta di "Colle Alberti" estate

Situated between Fucecchio and Vinci (at Cerreto Guidi, Florence), the typical, Tuscan, tree-lined landscape dominates. Originally it was a farm belonging to the ancient Lombard family of the Alberti counts. As from 1819, the Colle Alberti estate has been handed down the generations of the same family which has kept the historic Tuscan tradition alive. Presently, the estate covers over 200 hectares of land cultivated with vineyards, olive trees, wheat, barley and sunflowers in full respect of the land of origin and traditions. On the estate, where there are its cellars for the making and bottling of wine, there is also a small museum of agricultural implements where ploughs and machinery, which were used on the farm throughout the centuries, are kept. At the Colle Alberti estate, we will visit the farm and the agricultural tools and we will taste a DOCG Chianti born on the Florentine hills, the “BiancoDuva” (an IGT Tuscan white), a DOC Chianti Vinsanto and a DOC Chianti Vinsanto “Occhio di Pernice”.
